6 NEW SHORT PLAYS THAT CHAMPION NORTH EAST TALENT
Haddaway & Write is our early talent development strand. The initiative was developed to offer North East writers early script development and career support. Our 2024 programme is supported by Arts Council England and Sunday for Sammy, in partnership with Gala Theatre, Durham.
EARLY SCRIPT DEVELOPMENT
Haddaway & Write brings original voices to the stage. In February 2024, we produced six cracking new short plays from some of the region’s most exciting writers. The writers were selected from an open call-out and they received development support from award-winning writer, Sarah Tarbit.
